NIPPON PILLAR CORPORATION OF AMERICA (NPCA) located in Tustin, CA, is a subsidiary of NIPPON PILLAR PACKING CO., LTD (NPPC) in Osaka, Japan. Since developing the world's first semi-metallic cylindrical packing for steamboats in 1924, NPPC has been a leading company in the Asian seal industry for over 80 years. Through the years, our products have expanded from gland packing for ships, to gaskets, mechanical packing, mechanical seals, and to fluoropolymer resin products utilized in semiconductor manufacturing products, which have evolved along with industry changes. To provide such products to customers in North America, NIPPON PILLAR CORP AMERICA was established in July 1999. Even though semiconductor manufacturing products and fluoropolymer resin products are our main product lines, Pillar EDP (Emission Defense Packing, E6710+#6617) is attracting customer�s attention due to stricter environmental regulations. Since we provide customized mechanical seals according to user�s demands and needs, we have a high market share in the nuclear power plant market in Japan. NIPPON PILLAR GROUP is also selling the products in Shanghai and Singapore while manufacturing mechanical packing in Suzhou, China, contributing to the global community to fulfill our customers� needs.
